Remembering a brilliant artist- Leslie Elliott

Dale’s father, the late Leslie Elliott was a brilliant artist and the Elliotts’ have many of his paintings in their private collection.   Whilst LBE (Leslie Elliott) was an auctioneer and legal man by trade, and only covered about 300 canvases in his lifetime (which is a small amount), he was nonetheless a naturaly talented painter.

LBE also befriended and painted with the great W.G. Wiles on the odd occasion and his work is of a very high and professional standard and had he lived longer and painted more, he would of gone on to be a GREAT South African artist.   Below are some samples of his beautiful work for you to enjoy…
